Are you a handbell ringer "wanna be"? Have you always wanted to learn to read music? Do you read music, but you've never rung bells? Have you rung before but feel you need to dust off your skills? Are you an adult or a 6th-12th grade student willing to make a 3-6 week commitment to a ringing class? What do you have to lose? Absolutely nothing! There's no performance required! And you have a LOT to gain! Handbell teams are fun and provide a safe and comfortable environment for close relationships and witness through the art of handbell ringing. As you can see, handbell friends are truly special friends!

January 2009 Rookie Class is Announced!

Rookie Class Will Move to Monday Evenings Beginning January 12 

This First Church Handbell Ministry entry-point class is offered to all adults and youth (6th-12th grades) interested in learning more about the fun and fulfilling art of handbell ringing. The 4-week long 2009 installment of our Handbell Rookie Training Camp will take place on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm in the North Suite of the Sanctuary. Registration deadline for this class is Friday, January 9. Classes will take place on the following Mondays: January 12, January 19, January 26 and February 2. To register your interest in a FUTURE rookie class, simply download the registration form below and drop it by the church office.
