Kids of the Kingdom Chimes and Bells

About the Ringing . . .

The 2008-2009 Worship Arts Season begins Monday, September 8 for our children who ring handheld instruments at First Church. Third, fourth and fifth grade ringers are leveled into two groups called the Kids of the Kingdom Chimes and the Kids of the Kingdom Bells. These teams meet on Monday afternoons from 4:15-5:15pm in two different locations on our church campus. (See specifics below.) Entry level ringers are usually enrolled into the chime group. These students don't have to have any prior experience with music reading or ringing handheld instruments. They are trained in the basics of the medium. Students who do have experience and are ready for more advanced music will ring handbells during this same time frame in a different location with a different teacher.
