Worship and Worship Arts

Do you have special talents such as singing or playing an instrument? Are you comfortable reading scripture in the worship services? Would you like to assist with setting up the worship space, serving communion, or otherwise assisting in the worship services? Then the following Serving Opportunites are probably right for you. 

Choir member

Praise Band 
A praise band is featured at both the 9:40 am CrossRoads AM and 6:00 pm CrossRoads PM services. Contact Andy David at 255-3336 or andy@fumc-rr.org for more information.

Orchestra and Instrumentalists

Handbell Ministry
We have a dynamic and nationally recognized Handbell Ministry. Please contact our Director of Handbell Ministries, Carla David at 255-3336, ext. 122 or carla@fumc-rr.org for more information. Altar Guild and Communion Teams
We are in the process of forming an altar guild, and we have lay people who coordinate volunteers to set up and serve communion. See the Worship section of the Service/Helps page for details.

Lay Readers Needed
Would you love to present the Scripture readings during our worship services on Sunday? We want to expand our roster of readers for the 8:30 am and 11:00 am services.
