PLM - Prayer Life Ministry

Mission Statement:
The Mission of the Prayer Life Ministry, PLM, at First Church Round Rock is to engage in and promote prayer in this community of faith under the guidance of the Holy Spirit by: strengthening existing prayer networks, connecting the community through prayer, deepening individual and corporate prayer life, and providing educational opportunities to explore prayer topics. 

Organizational Vision:
The PLM ministry falls under the Nurture Leadership Team in the area of Congregational Care. 

We believe prayer should undergird and intersect with all aspects of church life. Therefore, the PLM team will work closely with all First Church leadership teams and councils to ensure communication and support across the spectrum of congregational needs. This ministry is first and foremost committed to acting through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. 

The PLM team envisions a variety of programs including: prayer chains, classes, retreats and seminars, a variety of prayer style groups, community prayer outreach to families, military, shut-ins and others, support and nurturing of existing First Church prayer networks and on campus prayer room use.
