Walk of Faith Workshop Rotation Model
Walk of Faith is our adaptation of the Workshop Rotation Model, which enhances the Sunday School experience for children in 1st through 5th grades. Walk of Faith is designed so that children learn the same scripture and Bible story over a one month period in a different classroom or environment each week. Kindergarten children also experience four different workshop lessons each rotation. They join the 1st - 3rd graders for Celebrate Day in room 232 in Building 5.
Each Walk of Faith workshop room offers an environment where volunteers teach in areas where they are gifted and talented. An adult who is knowledgeable in computers can share his/her expertise by teaching in Heaven.com. Those interested in cooking or science can share talents in Bread of Life. As a teacher, volunteers teach the same lesson to a differnet class for four weeks.
Each fifth week, the Kindergarteners - 3rd Grade children gather in The Great Room (Building 5, Rooms 232 & 234) for Celebrate Day to sing songs, hear about the current mission outreach, and share in their faith. The 4th Graders meet in Room 208 and the 5th Graders meet in Room 202 on Celebrate Days to share in a full hour of "Grapple".
