Sunday Morning Preschool
8:30 and 11:00 Programs for Preschoolers
Two by Two is a program created for children who turn 2 by September 1st of the current school year. Parents take their child to Building 2, Suite B, Room 3 or 4 prior to the worship service. These two rooms are each staffed with one of our childcare staff as well as one or two parent volunteers who serve as the teachers. A Bible story, activity, and snack are part of the one-hour schedule.
Bible Buddies is a program designed for children ages 3 & 4 (by September 1st of the current school year). At the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services, children participating in Bible Buddies begin the service in the sanctuary with their parent. At a designated time, the children leave with the Bible Buddies teacher and go to Building 2 for the remainder of the worship service. At Bible Buddies, the children hear a Bible story and do a craft, activity or play a games that relate to the Bible story. Parents pick up the children in Building 2, Suite B immediately following the worship service.
9:40 Programs for Preschoolers
During the 9:40 hour Sunday School is offered to children age 2 (by Sept. 1 of the current school year) through children in Kindergarten. A curriculum is used which follows the Old Testament stories in the fall and the New Testament stories January through the summer. Kindergarten and 4 year olds meet in Building 2, Suite A, Room 2. The 3 year olds meet in Building 2, Suite B, and the Nursery is located in Building 2, Suite C.
