MOM: the Ministry of Motherhood
The Ministry of Motherhood welcomes you to join us on our journey to become strengthened, encouraged, and equipped Christian MOMs. MOMs have a unique opportunity to:
- share the joys and challenges of parenting with other Christians
- explore and learn strategies for applying Biblical principles to the raising of children
- socialize with others striving to live a Christian life
- provide their child(ren) with fun and nurturing outings
- make a meaningful difference to the community through mission and outreach
What is the difference between the Ministry of Motherhood and other "mom" groups?
For MOMs, the social aspect is secondary to purposeful, meaningful connection. Social activities grow from relationships formed within the group, but are not the primary purpose of the Ministry of Motherhood.
The goal of the Ministry of Motherhood is to provide a positive atmosphere for sharing ideas, discussing the common delights and problems of a raising a family, learning through group studies, and serving the community. MOM strives to support parents by offering strength and encouragement. We are a network of friends with one common goal; to be the wife and mother God intended.
The Ministry of Motherhood meets weekly during the school year and follows the Round Rock school calendar. We are one group but offer meetings on two different days, Thursday and Friday. Both meetings are in Building 5, Room 127. We invite you to visit one or two meetings before submitting your membership registration.
Child Care
A limited number of childcare spaces are provided by the church staff, with age-appropriate lessons, crafts and activities each week. You will need to register each child that will be in childcare by clicking here. Inquires about childcare may be directed to Sandy Perez at cpperez@sbcglobal.net.
Operation Christmas Child 2008 |

Please help us with our Operation Christmas Child 2008 Mission. Operation Chrismas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's Love. Since 1993, more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed, shipped and delivered across the globe. This hands-on mission project focuses on the true meaning of Christmas and Jesus Christ through local churches and Samaritan's Purse. If you would like more information about Operation Christmas Child, please visit www.samaritanspurse.org. The children we will be making gifts for range from 2 years old to 14 years old. Please bring your donation items to the First Church Family Life Center Foyer on Sundays, October, 12, 19 and 26 and place them in our MOM's Mission Blue Plastic Bin or call Kristi Rape, MOM's Mission Coordinator, at 906-2776 to arrange pickup. |
