Calling all Motorcycle Riders

First United Methodist Church Round Rock has started a new chapter of UMME (United Methodist Motorcycle Enthusiasts). We would like to invite all of you that are interested to join us. We have had several rides to date and are in the process of planning several more. For more information on UMME National go to www.umme.org. We can order our own colors for vest and jackets and participate in many rides in central Texas. They are having a big rally for all the chapters September 16th in Glenn Rose. Mark your calendars and tell your friends. You do not have to be a member of this church or be a member of UMME RR to ride with us. Let me know your thoughts and ride safe. If you would like to be put on our email list or would like more info please contact Dan Rybaski at 789-4451 or umme@fumc-rr.org

The Vest

(UMME Colors)

Not a billboard – But a sign of your faith.

Not something to be earned – But a choice to be made.

Not to show how fun you are – But to show how serious you are.

Not to advertise – But to witness

Not to be controversial – But to make us accountable.

Not to be worldly – But to be Godly.

Not to be self-serving – But to serve.

Not to be boastful or rude – But to be strong and comforting.

Not destructive – But protective.

Not to show whom you want to be – But to show who you are called to be.

Not for my pride – But for His honor.

1"Your brother, Aaron, and his sons, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, will be set apart from the common people. They will be my priests and will minister to me. 2Make special clothing for Aaron to show his separation to God--beautiful garments that will lend dignity to his work. Exodus 28:1-2

The Vest for the High Priest

6 -8The entire priestly vest must be made of fine linen skillfully woven with blue, purple, and red wool, and decorated with gold. It is to have two shoulder straps to support it and a sash that fastens around the waist. Exodus 28.6-8
